Muffler sizes

Gidday folks
:) :) Was interested to find out muffler sizes as I am currently getting a set of big bore 2 into 1 headers made (with 2 intergrated step ups in size before the collection box with a 50.8mm outlet)and am looking at tailpipe options to suit.
I was wondering what other comparative systems utilise as I have heard you can can go as far as 57mm on the outlet on the muffler.
I would imagine this would be rather loud but after removing the std airbox the other nite and fitting the bellmouths(blue verlocity stacks) to the fcr's noise is becoming less n less of an issue and ultimately more power equals more adrenilin. :P Boy what a restriction that huge piece of plastic was.
Options open if I go to 57mm are that maybe I could get a removable restrictor(for those track/hard ride days) made to appease the neighbours. :x
Be interested to know what your acra and over systems outlet size is and or any of the other performance cans out there in use.
Cheers Brian (he's not the massiah just a very naughty boy...lol)

been discussed before - search is your friend

for the sake of clarity though, it would be useful if you confimed ID or OD. Pretty sure the ID of my Devil can is 60mm (and yes it is effing loud)

Well had a shoofty back through threads and found plenty on big bore systems as such but no real listing on internal outlet diameters on mufflers weather it be devil, scorpion, acra, over, etc.
The staintunes on the std headers at present are 50mm internal diameter at the outlet and also understand these are designed for std jetting with std headers. I'm sure not all cans are designed likewise :?: :?:
I have noticed tho that the over system seams to be the choice of most and well researched when built.
  So ultimately a can of similar length diameter and internal diameter outlet may give me something close to the mark to suit the headers being manufactured modelled off an big bore over system.

Thanks to Bob in Victoria I've learnt that the over cans are a 57mm outlet as such so a little more for the data base

There are a thread in here with diameter of the Over, Akra and MAB....and MAB is 55mm by the way....
