Having read through all this, I can offer no helpful advice at all, sorry
But I do have a tin in my garage with various fuel line bits and bobs in it which you are welcome to have, just for postage cost, to try as replacements for your kit.
If any of its any good, keep it. If its not, keep it anyway!
From memory, theres a couple of fuel diaphragm thingys (the silver square jobbies) some pipes, maybe a fuel tap.

I had a similar issue once, asked a mate to have a look at it for me.
When I asked whats wrong he said "Crap in the carbs".
I asked him how often I was meant to do that....

M&P have kindly offered to check the one I send back and if they agree it is fuk't - send a replacement - god knows how long that will take - really most generous of them, To speed things up M&P suggest I buy another pump and then send the fuk't one back for checking and hopefully a refund - C**ts

BTW both vacuum pipes blow through clear

So I am inevitably drawn to the conclusion that the pump is fuk't - unless anyone has some clever ideas?

Now wondering whether to buy one from a breaker and ask for a refund - I don't think these parts are a common failure - anyone else had one fail????

I have one, stripped it, cleaned it up couldn't see anything wrong with it so put it back together to use before finding the head/cams/barrels were shot. That was a year ago. You're welcome to it if you want to try it. Brums not far from Belper if you're desperate, if not I'll chuck it in the post tomorrow or Sat. Let me know what you want to do or your address.

Cheers Rich - the pump arrived this morning. Blew down the out nothing - blew down the inlet - full flow eureka NRVs present and correct. Sucked on the VAC pipi and felt diaphragm moving - so chances are it's a good in. Thank you so much

It worked - hoo bloody ray - Cheers Rich you are a gent - I will leave it overnight and try tomorrow. I may also re-torque the head down as it has been about 250 ish miles since the rebuild

Well started fine today 1st push of starter so fingers crossed. May try the 40 mile commute tomorrow. Have to make sure phone is charged!

do you use E10?

I suspect this causes issues with the fuel tap and pump on the TRX.

Because it is very difficult to find standard unleaded without Ethanol in Oz, I use 95RON or 98RON.... of course with the Cobba ignitions it make more sense to go for a higher octone fuel also but that is another story

As we are part of the fabbo EU we have to have a percentage of bio- fuel in our fuel - not sure about petrol, but in diesel removal of sulphur and inclusion of biofuel is causing chaos with hospital generators, with increased water content and higher likelihood of bacterial contamination. I am now having to get fuel monitored and checked on a six monthly basis and when out of spec pay for expensive fuel polishing. In the bad old days, with pure mineral oil diesel and high sulphur and much less fussy engines, diesel could be standing for 10 years with no ill effects apart from draining of water and sludge
