Carb overflow pipe, where does it go?

Post by Bucko » Mon May 25, 2015 9:46 pm

Hello, just refitting the carbs and I had marked up all of the pipes except one before removal, I thinks its the carb overflow, the pipe below the fuel inlet pipe, if it is the overflow where should it be routed to ? Thanks Bucko.

I had a similar problem. Try this link and see if it helps you as a first port of call:

Exactly how many breather or overflow pipes should there be, there is the one which connects underneath the tank, the carb overflow and I still have one spare hose left over? Could it be an old lead acid battery breather tube? Also the carb overflow hose seems too short to reach down behind the swingarm or should I use the spare tube to extend it, very confusing!
