Has anyone had to have their front subframe mount welds redone? I mean the ones on the headstock...where the bracket is welded on.
Is this a common failure? Probably not....I think mine has been badly rewelded in the past.

Never heard of that before. Bent faring frames are common, but not the mounts.

...but neither are gonna happen from normal riding, I'd suggest only if the bike's been dropped.

Yes I'd say it's definitely been dropped. More than once. Well I guess I'll see how it holds up. May have to get it took off and rewelded.
