Re: new TRX - big smile & bad pain!!
I tried the pile of washers tonight but wasn't satisfied with the setup. I ended up with two cupped washers each side that were spares from some mtb brakes. I dropped the yokes about 12mm the other night but didn't like the handling. Felt like it was pushing wide once into teh turn. I dropped it another 10mm tonight so the forks had 40mm showing with the bars in teh normal position. I then raised the bars up about 10-12mm. I am hoping this will stop the tendonitis i am getting on the inside of my elbow when I ride. Went for a quick ride tonight when I finished and front end feel is much better. Turn in is awesome and I have the confidence to push the front which doesn't drift wide now.The bars in relation to the seat feel better too. Commute to work will reveal the extent of effect.
