carb balance HOW???

Hi can anyone let me know where i connect the balance gauges to .
it is not clear in the haynes manwell
do i connect them to the vacumn pipes (one on petrol tank ,other on fuel pump)
or is it better to connect gauges to vacumn pipe stubs
any one one got any pics of were i need to fit gauge

The inlet stubs are where you connect the vacuum guage hoses to, you`ll need to remove the hoses already on them first and set up a gravity feed (higher than the carbs) temporary fuel tank too.
Block off the hoses you`ve disconnected with suitable screws or bolts and remember to turn off the fuel tanks fuel tap. :wink:
You could always make your own manometers (fluid guages), this might be useful to you anyway as it gives plenty of details:
