Vicar,
I've done a recent tear down on my bike and decided to do the modification route now rather than later. I am looking at putting an late model R6 front end and swing arm on it. Obviously some mods to get it to fit the frame are needed. That way I will have great suspension & great brakes, new switchgear etc. it will also mean I have a better choice of wheels at similar tyre size for the TRX. I am rebuilding the engine with 1mm over size Yamaha pistons to give 868cc, modify a TDM FI unit so I can hopefully put a Rotrex supercharger on it down the track. After that will be maybe an R7 fairing and tail piece. Still the heart and soul of the TRX but thouroughly updated.

A full fairing is necessary for a race bike or (perhaps) a tourer; but for something like the TRX, a half-fairing serves just as well (in terms of wind protection) and doesn't hide the motor.phuk72 wrote:I'd build mine exactly the same as it is now with the possible exception of a full fairing (an d a few other bits which I've got planned)
