rear hugger clearance

Post by Markracing10 » Sat Oct 23, 2010 11:47 pm

Could someone with a hugger fitted to their bike tell me if there is enough clearance between it and the tyre for me to be able to fit one to my bike with a 180 tyre

I fitted a YZF750 rim with 180 tyre and the hugger I had on (powerbronze think) hit the tyre. Had to take it off.

:D Carbon look plastic hugger, was on with the standard wheel and tyre, and is still on with the 180 rear tyre. However will be interesting to see what clearance there is if any with a new tyre., But then again with a couple of longer brackets it would clear it.
