Straight Bolt on Alternative Mirrors/ Fiddly mirrors

Hey rubes no names mate no names
Had a suggestion that the stem of the mirrors would fit into the original mirror mount onto the fairing and just use some washers to fill it in if too thin.
Going to go for a spin when the baby wakes up and take some pics to put up too.

They are not bolt on. I tried drilling out the mirrors to fit but it was not really do-able. Real shame as they are fab for rear view. The TRX was too much for them though. On the maiden run the donk shook the shit out of them and one of the allen key bolts (not the fairing mount) worked itself free resulting in half the mirror heading downwards. I made the mistake of trying to catch said falling mirror with my knee, locking up the back wheel in the process, fishtailing to a stop on some loose gravel and then spending 5 minutes working out that the damn mirror had hit the kill switch on the way down. Still, managed to retrieve most of the pieces so not a complete loss.

Red Baron I'm really interested in your thoughts on the ones you got.

What the eff did you expect for less than 30 dollars? You need to check & tighten the pivot bolts on most aftermarket mirrors as they're left a little loose from the factory so they fit 'snugly' into their standard for all cardboard box ready for their trip around the world

Well finally got the bike for a ride. Mirrors enable a good view. I got the fake carbon ones but you can get straight black. Bolt straight on but bit shaky. Memory of a peanut so can't remember if they were more shaky than orig mirrors. Got some longer bolts from bunnings with nyloc nuts then going to put on the orig rubber spacer from mirrors tomorrow. Still happy with them and the guys packaged them really well and got here relatively fast. Cheap as chips
And the long journey through the desert, treachorous seas and into and past the steaming jungle was over, with only minor casualties along the way, with the holy grail safely in his backpack he soldiered on in search of more adventure, closely followed by a rabbit with sharp pointy teeth and a mean....

Put the longer bolts on from Bunnings with nyloc nuts using orig rubber spacers. Prob needed only 25mm not 30mm.
Used some loctite after the gear shift incident loctite is now my best friend...
Had a little drama tightening bolt had to hold bolt with pliers but job done. Needs to be firm without the bolt cutting into the plastic. Went for good 45min ride, great visibility and they don't vibrate that much. Really happy with them
