Old thread revival!
Did anyone find out id of the rear brake hose? At a guess it looks about 10mm, but I wanna order the hose before I pull it apart...

Re: Brake Hose vs Master Cylinder
Can anyone tell me if 5/16 (8mm) is the correct size hose I need between the standard trx front master cylinder and the m/c reservoir? I have searched the forum and the net but couldn't find a definite answer.
Cheers,
Bane.

Just measured my old reservoir, 8mm inner diameter is what you need, sorry!bane wrote:Hi MV, I hope your wrong because I ordered the 1/4" (6mm) this morning....Haha...
But, if you get an R1 radial master cylinder & a Rizoma fluid reservoir with the 6 & 8mm outlets, you can use the hose you bought
Probably cheaper to buy the right hose though...

Re: Brake Hose vs Master Cylinder
Just my luck.... cant pick a winner in a 2 horse race...
I contacted the seller as the item hasn't been sent yet
so hopefully I caught it in time. If not I'll just have to
upgrade to the R1 radial and be done with it....
Thanks a lot for the info M.V. At least there is a definite
answer now if anyone ever needs it.
cheers,
Bane.
