BTW you may notice in the upper part of the picture that the headlight was replaced with another unit.
It's an FZR1000exup '91 part: while it's not what I would dream about in terms of light output it's a marked improvement that doesn't require any modification except the connector of the headlight itself.

This light is still a single globe unit isn't it???

Well. Wasn't all that a waste of time, effort & money. Sunday 03/02/13, I binned it behind the royal Brisbane hospital. It caused a collapsed lung, 3 fractured ribs + 1 where the fracture disintegrated 3 fractured vertabra + 1 compressed by 20%. They've also just told me that the bikes a write off.

Thats terrible news, the bike can be replaced so dont worry about it just focus on the recovery.

Bummer mate, sorry to here that and hope you heal soon and your up and running again. TRX is an easy rebuild as I've written mine off twice but never been insured to have the dramas involed with by back and bullshit to get it registered again. Stay positive she'll be right mate .

I think I'll try buy the wreck back from the insurance co if my other expenses allow. At least I could slowly rebuild it & if not, there'd still be plenty of usable parts on her.
