FCR fuel leak and setting the accelerator pump

I bought a set of used FCR41s(with TPS) + RAMAIR filter a few months back. I finally got around to fitting them to the bike last night. The bike fired up OK ...but I have a fuel leak coming from somewhere on the carbs. I can see the occasional drip of fuel coming from the middle area at the rear of the carbs that drips down between the cylinders and oil tank. The carbs are also moist with fuel on both side on there edges and bottoms. (I'll try and post some pics!).
As I didn't get any instructions with these carbs I'm not sure on a few things:
1. What should the accelerator pump be set at?
2. Could the above be caused by the accelerator pump being set 'on' too much?

Just FYI the bike is idling OK. When I blip the throttle the engine chokes itself (from reading on here I know that FCRs can behave this way).
The engine is stock apart from the FCRs and was running fine with the stadard carbs.

There is nothing like solving a problem yourself.
It's all good now. I backed the AP off by half a turn. Ran the bike on idle for 5 mins without any fuel leaks. Now when I blip the throttle the engine responds cleanly. I guess before the AP was set too high - blipping the throttle bogged the engine. All that excess fuel had to go somewhere... so it leaked out!
I took the bike for a quick test ride - wow!!! I love these carbs! I think a bit more set-up is needed as there is hesitation at low RPM and the TPS isn't working (probably related problems) . The bike is so much more willing! I've got lower gearing fitted and I can see myself hitting the limiter in top without problem.
