yes previous owner was less than sympathetic. I've been at the zorsts with wire wool and autosol but they are just too far gone at the headers. Replaced the chain and sprockets with a tsubaki kit so that is gold .

was going to replace the disc bolts with a stainless kit but after reading the horror stories with rounded / snapped disc bolts I'll probably wait until the discs need replacing before I go anywhere near them.

just use some heat , give them a GOOD wack with a hammer then undo with a proper fitting allen key iam shte at spelling

I've got a blowlamp I used to remove some corroded end weights from a pair of clip-ons a while ago. When I heated them it wrecked the paint finish, how do you heat the bolts how long, where to point the flame etc without damaging the disc or wheel?

Wouldn't the heat blister the paint and distort the disc. Got some decent halfrauds pro range hex sockets for my breaker bar. No wussy Allen keys here

I used my soldering iron on the bolts, came off easy peasy....

Beat me to it Killer, yep decent soldering iron into the hex end will heat them up.
