Nah, you're right Al, they performed as well as you could expect. The whole way up there it was really bucketing down. You can't expect to stay dry at 100+kph for 9 hours with that sort of continuous downpour.

My Oxford hot grips are probably one of the best biking investments I've ever made. Never mind the "softcock" and "princess" names, these are necessary for safety reasons more than comfort.
