So Jak, before this topic inevitably devolved into a slease-pit of desperate degenerate oldies trying to impress with the old double-entendre chat-up lines, did you actually manage to get your bike started or not? Just vaguely interested that's all.
PS I wouldn't insult your obvious intelligence by suggesting your avatar was in any way designed to invite such lame-brained responses. (Just don't change it OK?)

Rubber side down, Red side up is my preferred riding style.

Hey someone's remembered why I started the thread
Threads round here descend into the gutter anyway, with or without my avatar!
No I haven't got it started yet - then again I haven't even opened the garage door! But that's coz my daughter's been ill, and I've got a lousy cold too so we've barely been out of the house.
Planning to have a look at it next weekend - which coincides nicely with a mate dropping off a fish tank - cue fluttering eyelashes and sweet smile
(as if I would)
course I would - if men are dumb enough to fall for it then why not
works every time

It was the plugs - but one of the fairing bolts was rounded off so I admitted defeat and had to get the local mechanic to collect it and sort it out - real shame coz I was soooo determined to start doing stuff on the bike myself
Anyone recommend the best place to get a set of fairing bolts from?
Getting the bike back tomorrow
can't believe it's been off the road for 3 months
Maybe I'm turning into a FWB
Good news is that the sun's predicted to stay for the week down here
