Anyone using Dynatek Coils?

Just got me a pair of Dynatek coils and was amazed by their size MASSIVE!
If you´ve fitted ´em, did you have to do any mods to the original mounting bracket?
....and on the high volt side to the plugs, is it just to yank that cord out of the originals? New coils seems to just have a "push-in" in them.
Yes, i´m as green on this as the new coils are!
Cheers

Can I ask why? What advantages are they supposed to bring?

According to...i think the site was "ducatitech", all users reported a bike wich was: more easily started, more drivable on very low revs and more MPG due to more efficient burn (most of ´em had widened the sparkplug gap though)
Will report if it was ok bang/buck!

I´m fairly new to the TRX, but his this a comon problem with the TRX?
I´ve heard about it, but mine just sits there at 2.5K revs in second gear and pootles along with no problem at all..
I don´t know much history of my bike, but I´ve been told the Carbs have been dynojetd and some other thing I can´t remember...maybe is because of that that the bike is sooooo easy to ride at slow speeds?

Snatchy-ness or poor pick-up at low revs is a common complaint for bikes that have covered a few miles. There are various possible contibutors; emulsion tube wear (in the carbs), throttle cable slack, chain wear can make a difference. It has all been documented here in one way or another.
A few of us run lower gearing to make a difference also.

Fitted across the frame under the tank, easy fit when all other ideas where chucked.....can take a pic if i remember it next "tank up".
As for difference...the dudes at the duc site where right.
Feels as i got a better spark...increased driveability in slow traffic....starts easier. As for lower fuel consumtion i don´t know and really don´t care.
If they are worth it....well...not to expensive but on a limited budget i wouldn´t.

Tell us all KW, because after another wet misfiring evening I'm putting my coils (left one anyway) in the bin

I think it would help a bit as the dynatek needs no ground.
...ask and i´ll try answer...

So which model did you buy (can't find the TRX listing) 3 or 5 ohm? I presume it's single output ones
It would be worth £127 if it stops me hitting something when the second cylinder cuts in, like a truck this morning (nearly

)
Thanks

I´m quite sure it was "3.0 ohm single output with angled feeds"
....but don´t shoot me if i´m wrong!

Should be big ass green single output ones...
Adding:
DC3-1 is the name of them and looks like this:
Dynacoils

Interesting - I've been told 3ohm are for race use only and that 5 ohms should be used for road use
But then over heating probably isn't an issue in snowman land
