emulsion tubes??? and haynes manual???

ok peeps on what page of the haynes manual dose it talk about the emulsion tubes????
buggered if i can find em? lol
p.s. oops just found out it summit to do with the needle jet assembly i think?
but still could do with a pointer or 2 plz.

it dose not say about it ,,with the float bowl off you will find what looks like a brass jet it will not have a hole in it its the nut that holds the tube in .undo the nut and remove the small spacer you can now push the tube up (remove the top of the carb first and the needle slide ) then have a good look in the end of the tube to see if its oval ,, mine was not after 12000 miles good luck

you can also download the yamaha manuel just go to downloads and its there :lol: :lol:

No sign of it in Haynes' perhaps, but this is how it looks IRL toghether with the throttle guide and throttle.

The copper tube is the "Emulsion Tube a k a Needle Jet". Pull off the carbs, put them usd on the bench, undo the bottom and in the center of it all you'll find a bolt (6 mm wrench). That is the lower end of the tube. Unscrew it after removing the top of the carbs and you can push the tube out from the bottom upwards...
