Selecting Neutral with Engine Running

Slight problem! on my shake down ride today my bikes neutral light is fine when the ignition is first switched on, or the engine is off but once running and in gear if I stop I cannot get neutral again, just goes from first to second all the time but if engine is turned off I get neutral and the green light straight away, any ideas please guy's?

Hi.....May be worth adjusting the gear selector rod to see if that helps.......

Adjust your clutch cable.
You are basically not fully disengaging the clutch.

as above, sounds like clutch drag, if the cable is adjusted Ok check for warped plates too.
