I have a couple of these (pic below) in the workshop but have never done a conversion on a twin. The only major obstacle is the oil tank needing modding and/or relocating to make a bit of room for the blower and drive setup.

Sure is. Exactly the same Over catch tank from the engine breather I have to mount on mine.

What is the advantage of the catch tank? Seems to take me a lot of space.

Separates the oil mist from your crankcase breather (let gravity be your friend) so as not to get the oil residue flowing back into your intake so not to change air/fuel ratios and burn time with larger heavier oil mist being injected back into the combustion chamber.
Only really necessary if doing a few trackdays or constant high revs.
Bit of luck mine will fit under the lithium battery .
Not an optimum set up under the rear tail as in the picture and would be better with the inlet/outlets where vertical.

I had a 750 when they 1st came out. Just was hoping someone may have relocated their 850 tank to get some inspiration where to move mine to. Still mulling over what route to go down for the winter rebuild. TRX engine internals seem grossly overpriced ie, for the cost of 2 Carrilo trx rods you can get 4 custom made pauter 4G63 rods and roughly the same 2 for the price of 4 on pistons.

Okay, i see the breather hoses on the head on this picture.

Those Pauter rods look interesting, I think they require more investigating

I have emailed a solidworks file of a trx rod to my contact at pauter and usually they reply with a quote within 3 working days. I'd guesstimate at $350-$420USD pr but will post the price when I get it.

*UPDATE* 2 trx spec rods rated to 300hp and 12k rpm $440USD with a 3 week lead time
