Are Japanese spec carbs exactly the same as Euro spec?

Post by ron850 » Tue Jul 08, 2014 6:21 pm

I spoke to Gus Huckerby (Yank turbo guru) and he told me he used Japanese spec TRX floatbowls in his blow thru turbo FZR 1000 Genesis as they are more robust than FZR ones in a forced induction setup. Are Japanese spec carbs any different to Euro spec ones?

Cheers Ron

They have accelerator pumps but as far as I know the Euro spec ones are the same, just the pump nozzle is blocked off.
