Rear shock damping adjuster

Post by cravensmythe » Fri Aug 08, 2014 9:42 am

Just rode my bike on a fairly uneven rode and found I was bouncing around like a pogo stick. I thought I would adjust up the rear shock damping, but the knob on the side of the reservoir maybe only turns 5mm each way before it goes tight.

Is that all the adjustment it has or do I need to turn if harder. If it is seized is there much I can do to it without getting it rebuilt?

Do yourself a favour and have it rebuilt and sprung to your weight , unless you weigh 70-75kg..
It really is well worth it as the std TRX shock when rebuilt is quite sufficient for the bike for every day riding.
