Clutch cover gasket change

Quick question guys. Can you change the clutch cover gasket without draining the oil first? I've got a weep from where a garage obviously failed to do the job properly.

It's just had an oil change so don't really want to do another 500 miles later.

Cheers

Yes, best to lay it on it's side or well over on the side stand. A slight loss of oil will happen but only a spoonful

What's wrong with draining the oil, fixing your gasket, and putting the same oil back in ??
