Clutch cover gasket change

Quick question guys. Can you change the clutch cover gasket without draining the oil first? I've got a weep from where a garage obviously failed to do the job properly.
It's just had an oil change so don't really want to do another 500 miles later.

yes, you might spill a little but with the bike on the side stand you will be fine to replace the gasket

What Con Rod said or lean it further over by resting the left handlebar on a bench top or even a wall. Just chock the front wheel so it can't roll. Have fun...

Thanks guys. The answer I was looking for.
Job for next weekend I think. Are there any things I should watch out for when replacing the cover?

I think you need to remove the circlip on top of the actuator arm and remove the actuator arm otherwise you can't get the cover off, well i couldn't.

As silver says take the circlip and actuator arm off to get cover clear. I did mine on side stand when changing clutch with no oil coming out.
