Brake line question.

Hey guys, just a quick one for anyone who has done the flat bar thing. Apologies if it seems a bit silly.
I have all the bits and bobs ready for the flat bar conversion, bar the brake lines. Will the stock length ones need replacing with something a bit longer, and if so, what length did you find was required. The bars aren't a whole lot wider than the clip on's, all they they obviously sit higher and flatter.
Cheers.

All the flat bar conversions i have seen required longer than standard brake lines. If it not supplied in kit form, then the best way is to trial fit the parts to establish required length and then have someone like HEL do a custom length for you.
Of course if you are not as fussy as me, someone with a similar rise and width may be able to give you a length you are happy with.
I may have still have a set that I took off a flat bar conversion that was on a Rex I returned to standard.
Your are welcome to them if so. I'll have a look in my parts tubs tonight for you, can't remember if I have given them away to someone or not.

Was able to find them with just a quick look before work.
PM me an address and I'll stick 'em in the post for you today.
Even if you don't use them, it will make it easy to check the length you need.
