Probably a silly question but I have just finished a top end rebuild and in the process of putting the carbs back on I have forgotten what hose attaches to the t piece below the fuel inlet. And where that hose goes.
I tried starting it up with the large hose with a plug in the end that runs down the side of the motor but the bike was 8 stroking and would not idle. Seems to be running rich.

Re: Carb hose setup - help
From recall I thought that the lower hose towards the rear of the carbs was the fuel inlet from the pump and the upper one (also large diameter) was the breather.
I had the upper one running to a catch bottle at one time and discovered that if it becomes obstructed (in this case by fluid in the bottle), the motor runs terribly or not at all.
Hope this helps

Thanx MrDW and Trixynut,
Its was a breather hose after all that. All sorted and idling well after a top end rebuild and a bit of heart ache.
VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!
