TRX temp gauge calibration

Post by yammyman » Tue Jun 09, 2015 12:06 pm

Hi guys, I recently replaced my black dials with a set of white units, Tacho and speedo no problem but when I took the temp gauge needle off I realised the stop is on the dial and now I am unsure as to accuracy, has anyone else done this and had this issue??.....if not then I would suggest you remove the screws then allow the needle to settle in its natural stop before marking the position and removing it.

Just run it till the thermo fan kicks in at 106*c
Notice the position and mark it when it kicks in and if need be remove the white sticker to reposition.

Thanks for that info, pretty much resigned to doing it that way.
