Filler for ground/scratched engine side cases

What can I use to fill small scratches on the clutch, oil & water pump, alternator cases before re spraying them???
The bottom raised section on the oil pump case has been ground flat a little but not all the way through so it would be nice to get the original edge and shape back Inplace before re spraying the cases.
Something I can fill and then be filed/sanded back to give me the original contour of the case?

I have used Araldite Steel, presumably JB Weld could do the same. Some chemical metal anyway, just scrape it flat so it fills the cracks and no more otherwise it's a bugger to sand down to an original looking shape.

JB Weld would be my go to. Drill some small holes, say 2mm dia. in the bottom of the graze with a countersink bevel on the back side. Push the epoxy through the holes and spread it out into the countersink. This will definitely stop eeh epoxy from falling out. Though it shouldn't anyway.

Could have given you all the materials needed to paint when I collected the stator cover..Brian.
But all you will need is some panel filler and a rattle can of primer.
Panel filler has an excellent bonding power on anything clean and sanded./steel, alloy,paint...
Super cheap has an auto repair section.
No matter to the brand..bog is bog.

I was figuring that bog would do the trick as it would be just like patching a small ding on the edge of a mudguard and getting the original shape back before respraying.
I've still got some primer here as I'll redo the whole motor again
I've got time up my sleeve.
Rebuilt the muffler by drilling out the rivets, removed the ding then reversed the titanium skin.
Now there are just a few scuff marks on the inside facing the back wheel and not too noticeable.
Just need a new heatproof Akrapovic sticker which aren't hard to find.
