Hi guys,

On the engine side of my clutch cable there is a return spring that has broken.

I'm assuming its a safety mechanism of sorts. How essential is it?

I live in Australia / Sydney. Anyone recommend a good parts place?

Use a set of circlip pliers to remove the arm and you'll find it a generic part so you'll get one cheap at the wreckers.
