Price for an engine

I need help with the price for an used TDM engine.
It's from 1992 and claimed to have no more than 52 k km.
The engine is damaged (barel liner due to jammed piston).
What might be a reasonable price?
(My profile is still as stock as my Trixie is, this might change)

what part of the world are you in ??? in my opinion if it's got damaged bores it's worth £150 at the very most even from a dealer.

i paid £260 for a fully working mk1 tdm engine with 5k miles

£50 tops for that engine
TRX850 1997 - sunny day twisty toy
TDM900 2003 - commuting tool
TDM850 mk1 - scratching & touring
Z750 hardtail - project
gone but not forgotten : - XTZ750, GS500, GS125

i paid € 1500 for my 900 lump, seller said it had 8000 km. on it when he crashed the bike ( i believed him) 8)
this included the complete injection system, airbox and wiring.

Yamaha Holland charged € 3200 a couple of years ago for a brand new 850 engine without starterengine and dynamo
