Went for a ride this morning (damn it was cold!) Half way into it and I look down and my speedo had broken, its been a while - fairly reliable.
Gonna get a new complete cable from a dealer, but what I was wondering is can you buy the inner cable from anywhere? Used to be able to do that with the Guzzi. Used to buy 2 or 3 at a time for the cost of a complete cable. It had more of an appetite for speedos than the TRX. Don't mind buying them from overseas either.

Haven't seen that for the TRX but a complete cable is only £10 from Yamaha.

Make sure when you re-install that you put it back on upside down. That way you won't loose it if it disconnects from the hub again. The cir-clip will be at the top.
