Any good tips on getting the rear disc off??
WD isn´t helping much....

Found a new set of hex bits wich took a nice bite into screws....i almost broke my arm but hey...off it went! (lucky bastard!!)

Ive always used an impact driver to get my discs off due to the standard bolts being made of cheese and always rounding off!!!

But all bolts are now titanium so no worries there anymore.

You need a bigger breaker bar.

I used an allen key. And lots of WD40. no problems.

I have a windy gun which zipped mine off in double quick time after I realised that you have to push really hard to make sure the bits don't spin...

The one I f*cked up I had to bang a torx head bit into and then it eventually came out.

I replaced the front bolts with stainless jobs, but they came with a smaller hex, consequently they required careful handling to prevent the same thing happening...!

I'm interested in these Unobtanium bolts ... where from and how much?

For joe public greggy your looking at some daft money, approx £8 per bolt!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fortunately i work in the aerospace industry and they are used like toilet paper in here, one trial fitting under a running torque and then binned!! So needless to say a lightfingered person could quite easily on night shift borrow some on a long term basis!

be very careful ,,,heat the bolt area with a heat gun ,get a brass drift and when hot give the bolt a good whack downwards , use a good fitting alankey or if its rounded off tap in a torx key dont use to much force use a bit more heat and use stainless or titanium replacement bolts hope this helps ,,,( Ive done loads this way and it works )

Yep, heat and whack. They are locktighted in there from the factory and over the years that stuff becomes granite. Use a good medium thread locker when you put them back in and you should be fine.
