Right flat bars top yoke fitted but the new headlight is one of those rage universal things and with electrics not being my thing the 2 wires from each of the 2 headlight bulbs dont match up very well to the standard 3 pin plug from the orginal so question is how do i wire the new unit up so ive got a dip and full beam ? at least the indicators only needed some bullit conectors put on them to finish them off and that was easy enough even for me.......

one will be earth, usually black or brown
the other 2 are just switched lives. i THINK yellow is dipped, and white is high (usually is, WHITE=BRIGHT, easy to remember)
just hook the earth up , then see which light lights up when you put 12v on the other wire to find out which one is which.

Well had a quick look today there is a green wire ?the other 2 are as you said by the looks of it.........
untill i get the ignition switch back with the bolts drilled out im a bit stuck as i cant fire it on and see whats what, but its nearing completion took all the airbox apart today while i was at a loss of what to do and blew it all out and cleaned it the filter looks great still so thats a plus the only things left to do now are wire the light and find a way to mount the clocks

so how do i get a dip and a full beam ? what i mean is to get a dip im going to have to make sure the headlight beam is aimend down enough so as not to pint upwards or to either side but then how do i get a full beam ? the only way i can see to adjust the beam is to adjust the angle the light is mounted onto the forks am i trying to do somthing the unit isnt intended for ? are all these universal light units really a con and dont provide full functionality ?
errm help

for dip/full you could use one light for dip, other fo full. this would depend on the bulb type and reflector arrangement in the light fitting.
or you might have both on dip, both on full using a H4 bulb in each. depends on wiring etc.
sounds to me like you need to get someone who knows what they're looking at to tkae a gander. if there's no istructions I'd be tempted to send it back tbh. appears to be very cheap and nasty to me.
