worked yesterday not today

YESTERDAY my bike would start on the button the rev conter jumps about as i have not done tps mod yet but bike worked fine

TODAY rev counter doesnt move neutral light fine should start but nothing took starter button apart rocker switch works but no power at the button any ideas appreciated battery is charged

ignition switch.

ignition fuse

kill switch

starter cut-off relay. this puts power to the starter switch.

ignition switch seems to work neautral light ect kill switch has power and works i am leaning towards starter cut of relay

If power is coming out of the kill switch then yes it is likely to be the cut-off relay.

Have you tried clutch in, sidestand up? It could just be the neutral switch diode gone pop in the relay unit.

yes tried it clutch in stand up in gear in neutral i have just noticed clocks back lights come on even with lights off :?:

If you've got 12v at the red/black on the cut-off relay, then you can earth the black/yellow. If this works then it's the diodes.

If that doesn't work you could short out the 2 blue/white wires at the relay plug. This will bypass the cut-off relay. If this works it's the relay coil or contact.

Either way you need a new cut-off relay unless you want to leave it bypassed.
