does anyone know the size for this? ta
Which one do U mean? The internal that's sealing against the crankcase? This is a very special, that I doubt You can find anywhere else except for Yamaha's own.youngy wrote:does anyone know the size for this? ta
It's not just an O-ring seal, it has a spring pre-loading that presses a teflon-like seal against the shaft. I'll see if I can get a picture of it! (Unless there's a normal O-ring somewhere that You mean and I forgetyoungy wrote:That's the one. What's special about it?

That's the one gone on mine too. See Oil Weep behind Water Pump thread.HansJ wrote:It's not just an O-ring seal, it has a spring pre-loading that presses a teflon-like seal against the shaft. Edit:
I was "wrong", if this is the O-ring You mean? Then there's another seal for the impeller shaft, and that's the one I mean. If the O-ring on the pic is the one You need, then I'll get You the measures tonight!
