Does any one know what the finish is on the silver side covers.Can they be repaired or do they need to be replaced if they are scratched.

You mean the oil cover and genny cover?

Sand them down and spray them with VHT paint

hammerite smooth silver is almost identical to the standard silver engine paint

theres a few guys on the TDM forum who regularly touch up their engine....ooooeeerr missus

side covers
