Hello all

To those that have one of those vapor digital dash jobbies i need your electrical skills please.

Ive installed one on my t'other bike along with one of the black plastic surrounds that includes the 4 idiot lights. Ive managed to wire in the oil temp light, the neutral light and high beam light but im struggling with the indicator light.
The bulb only has 2 wires and obviously the indicators have 2 wires per side so when i connect them up and try the indicator switch, all 4 indicators run at the same time. Is there a way to over come this, there is the option of running a warning light per indicator side but i dont want to lose the high beam, oil temp or neutral lights. Hope this makes sense. :?

Cheers.

put a diode in the wire from each indicator to the dash bulb to prevent current flowing back to the other indicator, one like this should be ok

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?Mod ... 8#features

A 1n4006 is good for about an amp. Should be plenty

If you wire them with the line towards the dash bulb you should be ok. Then heat shrink wrap them to keep the sh1t out
