Pilot screw turns ????

Most of you will have read about my bike troubles! well i've just got my dyno kit and i'm now fitting it, in hope that it will make everything 100%..

My question is, when putting the Pilot screw in, it says to do it 2.5 turns - but what equates to a turn ?? in my eyes it would be one full revolution, for example if the slit in the screw head was running verticle (like in a 6 oclock position) it would have to be turned all the way back round to that postion? Is this correct -or is their version of a turn, what i would call half a turn, i.e. the 12 oclock hand would now be where the 6 oclock one was ?

Anyone help ??

Cheers
