Binding Discs

How freely should the front wheel spin when pushed by hand (on a paddock stand)?
I can't ge tmore then a couple of revolutions and that's with quite a shove.

Also think the rear brake is binding an all :roll:

shoudl spin freely without pads touching discs

:D What Pete said; Looks like you will be stripping calipers down to make sure that the pistons retract smoothly, or if you have the Sumitomo's throw them away and find some alternatives.

calipers are fine R1 jobbies. When I had the bike MoT'd it failed on the original calipers binding. Turned out the front spindle needed a couple of shims as it was suspected forks were twisted.
Put FZR600R forks on and thought it would be ok, obviously not. Time to dig out some some shims me thinks.
