Hi Lenny,
I had to pull my brand new cams out of the original wrapper for this

i better fit them now

so as below.....
all figures at 1.00mm - Lift
tappets set to......
0.23 Inlet
0.33 Exhaust
Inlet opens: 16 Degree BTDC
Inlet closes: 53 Degree ABDC ......... Max Lift Inlet: 8.3mm
Exhaust opens: 52 Degree BBDC
Exhaust closes: 24 Degree ATDC ........ Max Lift Exhaust: 8.3mm
Lobe Centre Inlet: 113.0
Lobe Centre Exhaust: 104.0
These figures come off the "V TWO" fitting instructions, which also came with a set of 150 main jets for the standard carbs. They also say to toss the air box and run filters on carbs, i guess they mean foam socks ?
I have been told that Brooke Henry of "V TWO" copied the "OVER RACING" cams in Alan Cathcarts racing TRX while he looked after it for Alan in Oz. True or not i don't know.
So what yah doing ???? Getting some ground ????
Cheers, Al.

Thanks Big Al, you're a legend. The cams were in my bike when I bought it and I have often wondered how close the timing was. Now I can check it when I do the shims. Thanks again.
