speedo cable not working
hi. just bought the bike.inner speedo cable was snapped clean thru at top end of cable.Probable pinched against speedo clock mounting.new one put on an it dun work.the inner cable can be seen to rotate when i hold the speedo end in my hand and roll the bike forward.the same can be said of the speedo working coz i can spin the wheel end of the inner cable an the speedo works!.Ordered of wemoto for a trx850 but is the cable too short perhaps????

Hmmmm, can only be that it`s not locating properly when connected up to the clock coupling and at the speedo drive housing at the front wheel.
Could be that the inner is too short, was it a TRX inner cable that you tried in your old outer?

have you got it the right way round - yes it is handed!
try locating at wheel first and then screwing into speedo housing (dunno why but it seems to locate better this way for me)
