290 + 80 pounds shipping for plain stainless steel. At the current exchange rates thats $620. It does say that the price includes VAT. Would you pay that if it is for export? You'd save another $100 if you could ditch the tax.

Pretty much ALL race cans are very similar in performance gains as long as the variables are the same, bore and length etc.The differences generally are the quality of the materials used.
Carbon tubes vary tremendously, pre-impregnated cloths, weaves and good quality control in the autoclave are what counts.Beowulf cans are the cheaper end of the market it`s true but I`ve never heard anyone rubbish them in all honesty.

Martin Leigh is a great bloke, he makes cans for some really good race teams in the UK.The top classics boys often use his cans because they are great value for money and give good power characteristics.He`ll make whatever YOU want, various bores, large and small overall diameters where space is at a premium and of course in various materials too.You can buy from them online, they have an Ebay store too, or likely it`ll be cheaper if you buy direct from them.Here`s some prices:
