Where the suspension linkage bolts onto the bike next to the engine directly behind where the linkage is bolted on there are another two bolt holes almost like you could change the ride hight of the bike by moving the linkage into the other two holes? I was thinking that the holes are maybe for a centre stand but has anyone tried moving the linkage into the other holes?

Yes you`re right, I suspect they are for an alternative mounting of the suspension linkage too but have never uilised them myself.
