ANY GOOD CAM CHAIN GURUS IN FIFE OR LOTHIAN?
Anyone in these areas capable of adjusting my cam chain to get rid of this friggin tick tick tick.I dun mind paying you if you can do a quality job.I dun want to risk it myself as i am not the best mechanical dude on the planet

The TRX has an automatic camchain tensioner. It also makes a lot of weird noises. Sure you have a real issue? Compare it with someone else's first. With that said, the cam tensioner could get stuck, or the chain is badly worn so it can't pick up the slack. Since you're saying mechanics isn't your cup, maybe get a second opiniopon first?

Naaa i've listened to a few video clips on this forum of the loudest ticking problems on trx's and mine is very loud indeed.Coming from the right hand top of engine right by the cam sprockets.Needs a checkover.

In truth it's not a big job to check (or replace). Do you not know anyone who is handy with spanners you can bribe with beer?
Otherwise, any garage should be able to do for you - don't pay more than 2 hours labour (should be less bit if the garage isn't familair with TRXs it may take longer to strip down)
