is a yzf750 shock the same length & a direct replacement for a trx?

I remember Kev saying something about the 750sp shock being produced by Ohlins and fitting straight in. Got an idea Red Barons got his old one from his trackbike. Expensive option and rare tho compared to a R6 option.

SP is an Ohlins ,not sure about the base model though. Yes it will fit but 3mm of material needs to be removed from the top leading surface for clearance.

Thanks for the info, spotted a Hagon for a YZF on ebay just pondering whether to go for it

speaking to local suspension guy the other mth who was telling me that the internals on the R6 shocks have the same piston size and internals much the same as the ohlins so great value for an easy mod (thanks to kayla

) Seems to be plenty of positive feedback so far on these shockies for the money

only had the bike for few months so going to give the stocker a good clean & adjustment see how it goes then probably go down the r6 route when time & funds allow
