fuel tap question

Can anyone advise if there is meant to be an o-ring in the groove on the elbow that fits into the fuel tap ??

check out thee parts manual, in the download section.
It does not look like there is an "o" ring there.

No, & that parts not suppsed to some off the fuel tap at all!
Don't worry, mine's the same, just jam it in there as tight as you can & forget about
I actually have mine held in with some metal epoxy, cos a new fuel tap is $160 odd AUD ffrom MR. Yamaha.

mine is the same, dont know the best answer.
I tapped mine with a SMALL hammer to get it to seat properly, let go one day at a set of lights and I spun out -embarrasing- about 2 metres into the intersection.
Fuel had dumped right in front of the tyre.
No problems since the hammer episode. The line there is under suction? -I think this helps

Hi kim!
As said before: No o-ring here; the best thing to keep the tube in place and sealed is to glue it in (with a suitable adhesive).
