My fan cuts in at 100 and then cuts off at 85
My bike maybe a dinosaur but it still has some bite & has a mighty roar.

Sometimes I wake up grumpy ........ but usually I let her sleep in

Yamaha will tell you 104 but it can vary a few degrees either side

Dont' forget ... the system is pressurised so the fluid won't 'boil' at 100°C.
Mine cuts in at around 105°C (which in the UK means 'never')
Rubber side down, Red side up is my preferred riding style.
