Hi any good reasons Not to powdercoat the bottom of a standard set of forks?

I am thinking of a winter strip and rebuild included would be frame wheels other odds and sods and the bottom of the forks, i havn't really noticed many bikes with "colour coded" forks.
there is the argument of dont bother, just get some decent r1 items, however I dont think my riding abilities warrants them although it would be nice, and there is the cost v's how much extra it will be to put in the fork bottoms in alongside the wheels and frame?

Just make sure the inside doesn't get done & you should be fine.

No reason at all (assuming you can strip the forks down and the coater blanks everything off correctly). You will also need to bear in mind that the additional thickness of the coating will make just about everything not fit correctly!

If you want to save money and time, you could sand them back and paint them?
