No problem ....... do you need to swap the rotor if you are just changing the alternator ?

Nope you don`t! The alternator stator is secured on the inside of the alternator casing with the ignition pick-up, the rotor can remain in place. :wink:

The manual seems to point to it being
On the other side of the rotor

Or maybe its just me :roll:
