When I bought my new engine there were a set of carbs thrown in on the deal

Thing is they are slightly different to the carbs I took off

If I didnt know better Id say they had " pumpers " on them

Ive swapped 2 Trx engines and a Tdm recently and none of them had this on the carbs

Looks cool going up and down when you rev it though :)

1st the old carbs

and here are the new ones

Youre advice would be appreciated

Hmm interesting, what does the number on the carbs read? Stock TRX carbs are: mikuni BDST38 / 2 designation.

Yep that seems to be the situation .......... just found a thread on Carpe

Apparently they give a better low range response :)

Might explain it feeling a bit livelier on set off
