What diameter are the shims?

Was looking at getting a shim kit from Bike Bandit, saw their kits advertised here....

So, what size ARE the TRX shims??

From memory the 3LD-12168-00 Yamaha shim is 9.5mm (9.48mm) diameter. The last two digits of Yamaha`s part number changes in relation to the shim thickness. :wink: . I take it you would be looking at these? :

I`ve not heard many good reports about HotCams camshafts, they tend to wear too quickly but their shims may be ok.

Yes, 9.48mm as mince says.

Hotcams are good, about $12ea over here, or there's a place here in Vic called Precision Shims that adverstise ~$5 per shim, there's probably something similar near you.
